VerifyDMARC development kicked off when Mimecast, which acquired DMARC Analyzer in 2019, ended its self-serve DMARC Premium plan in September 2023 and kept DMARC Analyzer for its enterprise customers only. We were an MSP using that plan for our clients. The alternatives we looked at focused more on data than on getting a domain to DMARC compliance and keeping it there.
When we moved our customers off DMARC Analyzer, we found insecure configurations that had gone unnoticed. So VerifyDMARC is designed to flag common misconfigurations and departures from best practice, and you do not need to be a DMARC RFC expert to get a domain to p=reject and keep it there. It is self-serve, and priced so an MSP can keep bundling it. Switching starts with adding our reporting address to each DMARC record. Read how to migrate DMARC provider or read our story.
